Workshop Theatre presents “An Evening at Fawlty Towers” by John Cleese and Connie Booth

Workshop Theatre would like to thank everyone that came out to the “An Evening at Fawlty Towers” auditions earlier in July.  We had a good turnout and we are pleased to announce the cast for this show which will take place September 20 – 28, 2013 at the Pumphouse Theatres.

The series is set in Fawlty Towers, a fictional hotel in the seaside town of Torquay, on the “English Riviera”. The plots centre around tense, rude and put-upon owner Basil Fawlty , his bossy wife Sybil, a comparatively normal chambermaid Polly, and hapless Spanish waiter Manuel and their attempts to run the hotel amidst farcical situations and an array of demanding and eccentric guests.

There will be three ‘Acts’ in the performance:  “A Touch of Class”, “The Hotel Inspectors” and “Communication Problems”.
